Having a baby Monday!

Wow...it's here. I can't believe it. There's only one more sleep until I get to see this little critter who's been thrashing around my insides like they're his own personal mosh pit. I'm even more excited--and terrified--than I was before the birth of my first son. (I guess it's the "knowing what to expect" thing. Knowing how much I'm going to love him, and how all-consuming those first few weeks are going to be, and how nothing ever seems to go according to plan once there is a newborn on the scene, lol.)

So, knowing I will soon enter the "Momzie" zone, I wanted to wish you all a great rest of your November. I hope to pop in from time to time to update and, of course, post preshush pics of newborn baby feet (aw!! the little toes!! I can't wait to see them!), but I won't be back to regular blogging until early December, at which time I'll be revealing the details of my big "the book be dropping at the end of January" contest. There will be lots of goodies up for grabs so be sure to stop back by during the holiday season and enter.

If you haven't cast your ballot yet, remember to make time today. Remember, only those who voted are entitled to the bitching and moaning after the fact. I'm hoping...for the first time in eight years...I won't have reason to bitch or moan tonight when the results come flooding in. (Or weep with despair, that's been a common response over the last two elections. Guess you can tell which side I favor, eh?)
